I might be able to help but can't commit to anything at this point. Depends on when the babies decide to make their appearance.
@ chino...I know but I was also told you can be really sore after a track day...it's my first time so if i can get a ride I'll take it...see how it goes I live near the border of east town and east grand rapids...
I was definitely joking with you - I don't think its a good idea for a number of reasons. Good luck finding help.
I live on the NE side just north of downtown, and have to be out there both days. I usually bring my bike and gear out on friday night so I can sleep in on Sat AM, are you signed up for just saturday? I can probably zip you home after the trackday if you want to help pay for gas (so broke right now it's not even funny)...
This brings up an interesting point. Just for the sake of curiosity, why is it always a better idea to transport instead of ride. I know some of the obvious reasons, such as if you crash, but since I ride to the track all the time, and I am in advanced, I ask the question why? I will be at Grattan sunday, but I am indeterminate about whether to ride trailer the bike up to the track and I would like some experienced input. Oh yeah, I also live in Eastown, and am a noob still since I started earlier this year in April.
Besides crashing and not being able to get home. You can't bring anything with you. Can't bring a case of water, no easy-up, no real tool kit, no tire warmers or genny, no spare rims etc See ya there. Steve
Great point. I don't have most of those, tires warmers, "genny" (I'm assuming generator), etc. But I do need lots of water, spare set of clothes, etc. Thanx. :thumb:
