Quick question on tech inspections. STT Does or does not inspect gear? I thought things like helmet production dates were a big deal

We do not tech gear read the gear requirements on the main site. The helmet deal is if u race!

Just to clarify, while we do not tech gear in the morning for your sticker be assured that every coach, pit-out control and others will be keeping an eye out for bad gear during the day, if we see something (like 2-piece leathers not zipped together) or a rashed up helmet, etc. you can guarantee we will pull that person in and take a closer look.

 

Also our Flagmen at each event know what to look for as well before you roll out......:thumb: Edit Dave beat me to it.....

 

GOTCHA. I wont be showing up with a rashed up Vega. My Arai is approaching that 5 year mark and just didn't want something stupid to stop me. im holding out until the 2014's come out to replace it.
