sedici rapido or alpinestars carver?

    Starting to gather my gear for trackdays on a budget. Cyclegear has the Sedici Rapido one piece on sale for 479 and it appears to be a decent suit. Sttgear has the alpinestars carver for 639. Any reviews on either suit for a newbie? Thanks in advance!!

    Astars has a MUCH better reputation, if you can afford it.

    alpinestars is decent suit, i have been using it for 5 years now, and no complains,

    Work with STT. They will get you into a good suit. I put no faith in a Sedici anything. I think Sedici is a little better than shorts and T shirt, but that is about all.

    If you are on a budget, which I usually am, look up the Cortech Latigo RR. Watch the video, and look at Tommy Aquino's (R.I.P.) suit. He was run over by his bike, and the suit protected him.

    I don't know if it's worth anything, but they have EVA foam padded collarbone protection panels.
