Does anyone else have problems with clearance between the front tire and fender when trying to put on tire warmers? I have a fiberglass front fender, unsure of brand, that has almost no room between it and the tire. The result is an extremely tight squeeze to get tire warmers wrapped, especially at the plug. If others are not having this, what fender are you running that gives more clearance?

When I originally put my sharkskinz fender on, it was rubbing the tire without warmers. That was with power ones, but my PP3s clear fine now. I've got maybe 12mm clearance in front, and 7-8mm at the back, without warmers. Don't know how much room warmers need.

Is there anyway to fiberglass in the holes, and redrill them slightly lower?

Warmers dont need room.... Its ok if they are on the fender...

Well, that wouldn't be such a problem, but they barely even fit on. It's rubbing the plug on my warmers to the point where the life is likely to be shortened. If it was just the warmer contacting the fender, I wouldn't care. The fact that the plug is being damaged concerns me. These are woodcraft warmers, so the disconnect plug is just off-center. Every time I wrap the tires, the disconnect gets just a little more mangled.

This seems like it would be worth a go. I'll check the fender when I get home and see if that's feasible.
