Very sad for Moto GP. While I would say it is time for him to hang it up, I sure hate to lose a guy like that from the paddock... http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2014/Apr/140409edwardsretires.htm http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2014/...ent+at+end+of+2014+in+Austin+press+conference
About time!! He is awesome but past his prime and needs to make room for fresh talent. Not hating the guy, he is an awesome rider and pro but good for him for stepping aside.
I am not sure I agree, but maybe. Still you can bet it won't make room for another Yankee to replace him! Very sad to see him go. I think he would make a great ambassador in the. US. I wonder what he will do next. EDWARDS FOR PRESIDENT!
Just out of respect for Edwards can anyone post a link to the time he crashed because of oil and threw rocks out on the track and shot the camera a bird. It was an old race but IT IS COLIN at his best.... I just can't find the link.
I watched the press conference last night - Colin was being Colin - He'll never make it onto live TV because you don't know what he'll say
He is a hell of a nice guy. Gina and I spent four days at his Texas Tornado Boot Camp. If you get the time to go there, go for it. It is a blast, and he gets out there and personally teaches you, then hangs out by the fire at night. You get to shoot his guns as well:thumb:
It's a sad day in the GP paddock, Colin was the life of the paddock.. He always brought a smile to peoples faces and was always joking around. Some people would say that he should of retired a long time ago but, we need people like him in the sport.
Just got back from going to that with my brother. 6 days of fun (we drove there and back). Loved it in every way. Oh and remember the shooting contest? We did it in costume as well as one days super pole ound: I think my sheep ears on the helmet gave Edwards a chuckle
You must have been there at the same time as a couple friends of mine. Joey and Mike from Franklin TN:thumb::wheel:
