Sorry sent from my phone I meant Barber (BMP). What should I expect from the organization and what does the organization expect from me? Also how does one move from Novice to Intermediate and then to Expert?

You can expect professionalism, the best instruction, and the most fun you ever had with your clothes on.
The organization (STT) expects you to come with an open mind, willingness to learn, and a fun attitude.
You advance by demonstrating that you are ready to move up. This does not mean you are setting new track records. They want you to show that you can handle the bike at speed, pass safely, and most of all, be predictable.

Is it possible for someone to go from novice to advance in one day. I'm not saying I will. Just a general question

Yes, you can ask to be evaluated to move up and yes, if you're skilled, it is possible that you could start in novice and finish in advanced. Given that said, track days are not race days and you shouldn't concern yourself with moving up as fast as you can. Getting a bump up, as fz1guy said, is less about how fast you are and more about your ability to ride at a fast pace with others safely and respectfully. That's what STT is expecting you to do first and foremost. This is not a race organization but if you make it to advanced, it can feel that way but the rule is to play nice! Most of us are riding for fun and enjoy the safe environment that STT provides. Hope you enjoy your ride!

Right I was just curious. I'm not concerned with moving to advanced right after lunch. I just was curious if it was possible. I would like to perfect the craft. Is there a class that I have to take my first day? Do people sell items at these events?

If you are starting in novice you will have class before your sessions. If you are already have skills and find the pace to be too slow, ask a coach to evaluate you. There will be food, photo and tire vendors and usually suspension service as well. I think you'll find this to be a very exciting event! If you've never been to Barber, you must set aside time to visit the Motorcycle Musuem! Enjoy...

I've been track riding for two years and have been to JenningsGp 5 times! It should only take 12&1/2 hours to get there but Hotlanta always adds an extra hour to my drive (from St. Louis) and I'm loosing an hour to try to make the gate by 9:50! WTF, why 9:50 instead of 10:00? Off track, no pun intended and sorry, lol. STT does their season closer there in December...

Hello STT! I am new to the org and will be riding my first time with you all at CMP 11/20. I am in search of sharing a garage space if anyone has space I am more than willing to share the cost.

    Thanks in advance!
