So, my go fast is down with an undetermined oil leak. I have only the K1600. Can I and should I ride that this weekend? No bites on trying to sell my place...so I'm either riding what I got, or out the cost of the weekend spent on track time.

Might as well ride since you have paid for it. The Beemer will be a handful around Tally, but you should still manage to have fun.

What size tires do you need? I may have some old ones that will work fine there.

It really was a pleasure watching you hustle that K1600 around the track...smooth, good lines, and a good pace. Thanks for coming out!

I really appreciated the patience of everyone. I know I was a wide load on the track to pass. The coaches were great, and everyone of the STT staff was helpful as usual. Hopefully I'll be back out there in August on a bike made for the job.

Also, have to say...I had a ride planned in the mountains with some spirited riding the next weekend and it took me a day of riding to get comfortable again in blind corners on the street. Also had to come up with new tires after a day on the track!

Couple of pics of me holding up traffic!

We've had a Goldwing before and I remember a fellow on an FJR at Tally several years ago. It's all good and glad you enjoyed the day.

Jim, I'm the guy on the R6 behind you in the 1st pic....I gotta say I completely agree with SWODI, it was awesome to see you moving it around the track.
