Like it says, my most limiting factor (besides money) for doing more days is that I have no way to haul my bike, or the funds to get a way to do it. If you are heading to ANY STT events and are passing by Lockport IL (which is southwest of Chicago) let me know, and I'll find days that work well with my schedule. My bike is an 03 GSX-R600, so she's a bit fat, but she gets onto trailers pretty well. I did my first weekend this past weekend, and now I want more... anywhere. Luckily I had a member from here to help me get to the track and now I am hooked. PM me on here, or leave a reply, either way will work with me. imp:
Nope, a little 4 cylinder suzuki forenza. No tow hitch, nothing. In order to haul my own bikes, I'd have to invest in a tow mount and trailer. At this stage in my life, I don't have the funds to do either, but splitting gas costs... now that I can manage for the time being.
^ Yes, my lovely girlfriend likes to come with me to events so she can "kick my ass if I crash." She does some cooking in between sessions for lunch and after for dinner and makes sure there are cold drinks in a cooler. Another perk
Gonna bump this, would love to get out to Grattan for a day as I have a free track day to use. Otherwise, if you are going anywhere, and are willing to pick up my bike, hit me up. =]
I don't think I'll be making Grattan, but I'll be at G'man for Trackfest and back to AB for Labor Day weekend. I might be able to fit you in my trailer.
Unfortunately I can only afford to do an STT event with a free trackday I had won =] I believe I had talked to your friend and it just wouldn't work out for that event
have you checked into this kind of thing yet? http://www.autoaccessoriesgarage.com/Towing-Hitches/Curt-Receiver-Hitch
Anyone able to tow for the ACC 8/3 - 8/4? Offering plenty of water, as well as snacks and such. Willing to give you the cost of gas from LP-ACC as well.
