I've never been to the this before... Is it the type of show where the OEM's bring their current production bikes for you to sit on and fiddle with, or is it a look-but-don't-touch type show?
I haven't been in two years, but it's a mix. OEMs will have most of their stuff out but there might be one or two really new or exclusive things that qualify as look but don't touch. I remember when the Panigale was just announced they had one there and the only people allowed on it were the booth girls to pose with it.
I have been every year in Michigan the last 4 years. its pretty awesome. almost every bike you would expect to be able to sit on you can. I almost dropped a Goldwing last year lol its an auto show for bikes plus vendors.
I will be there on Saturday, wearing my STT swag that I recently ordered. I will definitely stop by the STT booth.
It is a mix. For example you can sit on the new R1, you can't sit on the H2R. I've been to I think three of the IMS shows so far this year.
Nolan Lamkin and his truck driver ( ME ) will be there on Friday night and attending the show on Saturday. Hoping to sit on a KTM RC 390 CUP bike, well, Nolan is hoping to.
I'll definitely be there at some point and make sure to say hi. Will you be wearing an orange vest so I can find you?
