Sorry for the late response also for the bad information, it's an 08 Kawasaki Zx600p not an R, is that an issue for you??
The only difference that I can see from doing my research is compression ratio, the weight, it's extrem light, and the frame and even then the difference is still not that far off. Horse power, torque transmition is all pretty much the same.
They are the same thing. The zx6r model number for the 2007 model was zx600p. Kind of like how a 2005 mustang is an s197.
