Here's my ride for 2016. Put her down lightly in Charlotte's Web at the season opener and am almost done touching up the scratches.
Not a great picture, but have been rebuilding over the winter after a maiden voyage off road experience last October at Barber. It's pretty much ready to go out for the shake down run and get the suspension (new stuff) dialed in.....
Wouldn't be a bike thread without some Italian beauty in it! Repainted plastics and new clutch this year. 06 999
nOOb here. Just getting signed up with STT and checking out the forum. Sorry for the crappy garage picture but I just got the bike converted from ice racing setup last night. Ready for a trackday at Grattan. I live 10 minutes from there so it is my home track. 2004 CRF450R all brand new rebuilt from a rusted hunk o crap with some minor motor tweaks
grattan, minus the long straight, is a fun supermoto and slower bike kinda track .. lots of elevation and transitions
Very much so. Out of all the track bikes I have had, my supermotos have been the most fun. My first day out there with STT this year will be CCW! The best direction as far as I'm concerned. A great quote from an old timer at Grattan on a Friday before AHRMA while he was looking at my Hayabusa in track trim... "son, you don't have to go that fast to have fun". The next year I was back with a YZ450 supermoto. He remembered me and said "much better".
GSXR 750K4 I also picked up a new R3 for my street machine. I'm sure I will do a few laps in her as well. My wife is threatening to come out and watch at Grattan here in a few weeks. I hope she gets the itch and brings her Repsol (250) out a few times.
