So...here's the latest rumor...That Michelin is giving Marquez different tires than everyone else.. - Marquez couldn't ride for squat at the start of the season, now his bike seems to hold better than anyone else's...including Dani's.. - More importantly, watch what happens when he pulls into the winners pit, AFTER the race - his team immediately puts the warmers back onto his wheels so nobody can see his tires...gotta wonder why... I heard this and scoffed - I said "Do you really think they'd do that, that MOTOGP would go alone with that, and take a chance the rest of the paddock would find out? The answer was HELL YES THEY WOULD...Wow would that set off the fireworks... Oh, and supposedly the Ducati/Lorenzo deal is a done deal - It's no secret that Rossi is paid waay better than any other rider, and apparently Ducati has told Lorenzo he'll be the lead rider of their team. Lorenzo said he doesn't want to ride on "Rossi's team" i.e. Yamaha, anymore...
Those rumors are false! I just signed a contract for 2017-2018 with Ducati. If in fact Lorenzo joins our team, he'll be testing new parts before they put them on my machine.
drama drama drama ... i like cals little dance after he saw smiths bike fly past his legs within inches .. probably expecting more bikes in the pileup
Feel sick for Dovi. Running 2nd two races in a row and gets taken out. The Suzukis are showing well. First thought maybe it was just Vinales but apparently it's a decent platform.
Things will change when the circus gets to Europe, well 'cept for Crashlow crashing on a regular basis. That probably won't change. Only Alien not to crash out yet is Marquez. Maybe it will be his turn before long. FWIW I think the 16.5 to 17 change has more to do with the crashes than the rubber maker. 16.5 fronts had grip for days when leaned over.
Yep, he might as well become a US citizen! ....I remember the Indy 2012 race. I was there, and watched him smoke everyone. I wasn't as familiar with the lower classes at the time, so I didn't pay too much attention to him until later in the season when he botched his start in Motegi and dropped like 20 spots and within a few laps he was already fighting for the win and ended up winning...then later on in Valencia where he started from the back due to a penalty and still won the race! That's when I thought "this guy is good! he will be one of the greats!"
There has been many times when team mechanics/staff hurried up to cover tires for riders in parc ferme. What you said is nothing but a rumor, and I'm betting it's false. They do that for other reasons, typically so the competition can't look closely at the tire wear and learn from it. I've seen them do that on Marc's bike in the past, Lorenzo's, Rossi's, Pedrosa's, etc. Nothing new.
I was there for the 2012 Indy GP. Something happened to him (penalty?) and he had to start in the back in Moto 2, and came to the front and won.
Looks like its confirmed! Lorenzo is headed to Ducati. This is exciting! Sounds like Mav is the favorite to replace him on the M1.
That's because he never did! Surprisingly enough, apparently this was the 1st time in his career in MotoGP that he lead a race from start to finish from pole position! I guess even at age 37 he's still improving and making new accomplishments! One more thing that shows why he's the GOAT!
