Track Details and Services: Gates open Friday at 6pm (local time) and closes at 11pm. Gates reopen Saturday at 7am and closes at 11pm A $10/day per person gate fee for all riders or spectators is required for this track (please bring cash with you) Camping is available for the weekend Direction of travel in the upper paddock is one-way, counter clockwise with anything that has a motor in it (keep right up the hill) Garages (upper paddock) are available with electricity for $40/day, $60 for 2 days, Call Sam @ (616) 691-7221 to reserve. Pets are allowed and MUST be on a leash at all times. Please "clean up" after your pets Showers are available (upper paddock) Race/Pump gas is available over by the concession area, cash only. Concession stand open for lunch (upper paddock) Leathers are reserved through STS Email: sales@sportbiketireservice.com or call 888-390-4020 STS (Sportbike Tire Service) will be available for all your Michelin tire needs (upper paddock) Everyone must register if you are riding on the track Registration will be held inside the main white tech garage on the upper paddock Tech inspection will be held in front of the same garage on the upper paddock Tech and Registration opens at 7:30am Friday and closes at 8:15am for the rider's meeting, then will re-open after the rider's meeting. You must register first, before heading over to the tech inspection area with your bike. After you register, you will be handed a group sticker to place on the front of your bike. Place the sticker on the front of your bike someplace visible and secure, then head over to the tech area for inspection. Mandatory riders meeting 8:20am, you must be there or you will not ride. Tech and registration are closed during the rider's meeting. GoPro (or similar) cameras rules: **All GoPro's (or similar cameras) that is mounted on a motorcycle must have a tether from the camera case to a point on the motorcycle. It doesn't have to be pretty, it just has to be tethered and secure. **Helmet mounted Gopros (or similar helmet mounted cameras) are NOT ALLOWED at all on track. **NO unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), unmanned aircraft system (UAS) or DRONES of any type allowed at this event. We ride R*** or shine, please come prepared for Michigan weather. ***Please keep your area and garages clean do not leave any race gas cans, tires or any other garbage when you leave.*** If you have any questions or comments, please post them here.
Looking forward to it... I think this post was copied and pasted over from last weekends Grattan track day though so you need to change the days from Thursday/Friday in regards to when the track opens, etc.
I'm looking for a spot in the novice group, if anyone hears of a spot opening up let me know. I was waiting to see if I'd be able to go and it looks like I waited a bit too long...
there were spots open on Sunday and I know vet2track has spots open on Friday I can get you the info if you need
Just posted this in the event classifieds... "I'm lookng to sell an intermediate spot for this coming Saturday 5/21 at Grattan. I just want the $160 that I have into it, which seems reasonable since the event looks to be sold out. PM me if you're interested...thanks!
