I have not been to Blackhawk before and am planning to go there for the July 9th and 10th weekend. I am going to drive in Friday afternoon and was wondering about the feasibility/practicality/desirability/allowability of parking my SUV and trailer there overnight while I and my family spend the night in a local hotel.

I know at Autobahn I could do that, as I have been there enough to understand the place and how things work. But is this same possible at Blackhawk or should I just plan to camp out overnight instead?

Was hoping those that have been there before might share their insights.

    Thank you.

Based on years of going to Blackhawk, I would not see this being an issue, but I am not the deciding person. There are plenty of areas to park and they should be able to accommodate you inside the paddock or outside. If you want to be absolutely sure just give a call to their office and be sure.

I was wondering the same, although I'd only park a bike trailer there overnight. The track pipe is strong.....

I've never had an issue leaving vehicles and trailers at BFR for any of the track orgs I've gone with. Many blessings people do, actually, because the mosquitoes will eat you alive at night if you don't have bug spray.

(For reference, mosquitoes aren't usually an issue during the day)

Not an issue. Park and leave as you like.
