Hey y'all, I have decided to try and sell my bike. I bought it new in 2015 and it looks as good as it did when I brought it home. It is in great shape with only 1911 miles and all stock, except for the reflash that Huey did for me last year at Barber. I have a clean Alabama title. I was going to convert it to a "track only" bike but just can't bring myself to do it. I want to do more track days (I have only done three so far) but I am preoccupied with not scratching this bike, so I am reluctantly selling this one and will be in the market for a track only bike. If it does not sell, maybe its not worth what I think it is, and I will go ahead and do the swap. I have it listed locally for 8500 for the bike only. I would reduce it to 8000 to forum members and include the following. I have two sets of Hot Bodies bodywork, Engineered 4 Speed windshield, an M4 muffler box remover, an M4 GP slip on, dzus fasteners and seat pad. All still new in the box. looks like a good deal on a very nice bike. Just curious about the re flash and your thought about it and biggest difference? I have a 2014 r6 also and have been considering reflashing .
Thank you. I would highly recommend the reflash. It's like Huey said, it gives you the bike you thought you were originally buying. It seems to have better throttle response (crisper and more linear). It really seemed to wake the bike up. Talk to Huey at Marietta Motorsports, he is a straight up guy, and can tell you way more about what the actual changes are made. Steve
Gee! Why can't you be in Michigan, I would buy it in a heart beat!!! Going to buy a similar one bone stock for the same price this week end, couldn't find a better deal locally...
I haven't decided yet. I'll be looking for something over the winter. This year has been stupid busy. I am really looking forward to getting back at it next year. Y'all enjoy the rest of the season, I'll be back soon.
