where you should to be from a prominent university, stand up person, that corners low, and know how, and why to use a 3 foot screwdriver in the pits, to defend yourself. Ski
Haven't checked in on the forum for a week or so (which is a lifetime considering I'm usually popping in once a day)...just wanted to say how excited I was to see that this thread is still alive and well...lol (w
Under $250 for a track day?!!? Sign me up. I spend nearly that much just on tires. With gas, food and drinkd my bill is nearly twice that, and I don't have to buy track time. I must be doing something wrong. lol
I can do Talladega GP, for $250.00 no problem. Tally track day $99.00, set of full race slicks $329.00 divided by 5 days $65.80 per day, fuel to and from Tally, $50.00, 5 Gallons of fuel for bike $12.00, ice, water and subway sandwich $20.00= $246.80. This is a minimum, but it can be done, you just have to be cheap!
You lost me at you get 5 days out of tires. Then you listed at little talladega. I don't think I get 5 sessions out of a rear tire at talladega. Lol. I am just messing around.
I get 2 days out of a set of Power Cups at TGPR. One day on the left side. The other day on the other left side.
I can get 4 to 5 day out of a rear Dunlop N-tec and twice that on the front at Barber running in advanced group. Majority of riders can get that or better, top advanced riders will shred them a little faster.
"why would i be a member" I would join any org. (even if that org. did not ride motorcycles) that parties like these guys! Especially if that org. only charged a $65.00 membership fee. We are a club, we have cookouts and take care of each other. We all know you are a member posing as a troll. LOL We will see you at BMP for the cookout!
You guys, I found it. Its Justin Bieber on a Can Am Man, he is so ready to hit the tail of the dragon
I have yet to experience the nightlife that concludes a successful track day. Perhaps I'll stick around on Saturday and see what it's all about. I'll bring a case of Lagunita's for those who share in my love of the IPA. Regarding tires - you know I'm a conservative "I" rider when the Michelin guy comes by and makes comments like "Excellent tire wear, you sure know how to prolong the life of that rubber"... Maybe I'M JUST THAT DAMN SMOOTH ON THE THROTTLE BUDDY! LOL
