The garages at NCM are now complete and available for rent - contact the track about that. There is electric in the garages. If you want an RV spot, you should also reserve that with the track - they are limited!

Gates open approx 5:00pm Friday night and stay open 24/7 after that. Note that no trailers or equipment are allowed to leave the premises after 10pm (you can leave in your car). NCM is in the Central Time Zone.

    No gate fee at NCM!!!

We ride R*** or shine, please come prepared for Southern rain showers.

If you need camping or electric, you need to pay the gate guard at the track for that. There is currently VERY limited power at NCM, so plan on bringing a generator.

WE WILL ALSO HAVE YAMAHA GENERATORS FOR RENT!!! First come, first served.

Tire service will be open Friday night 7:00pm-9:00pm to help you out. Then 7am to 7pm Sat and 7am-3pm Sun. We can now remove and replace your wheels for you if you do not want to get greasy. As usual, we will have our awesome prices on all the Michelin tires.

Huey from Marietta Motorsports will on site for all suspension and tech needs!

Sign-up opens 7:00am both days and closes at 10:30am for the day. Please be on time.

Tech opens 7:00am and closes 10:30am both Saturday and Sunday.

Please note some NEW tech rules regarding GoPro (or similar) cameras:

    - all Gopros mounted on a motorcycle must have a tether from the camera case to a point on the motorcycle.

    - helmet mounted Gopros are not allowed at all on track

    - in our novice group, Gopros are not allowed on track in the morning sessions - in the afternoon sessions they are fine as long as the above rules are followed.

Mandatory riders meeting 8:20am both days, Intermediate riders are first on track at 9:00am.

Absolutely NO revving of motors before 9am or after 5pm. Idling through the pits on your track bike is fine - but let's try to help NCM be good neighbors. There is a 103dB sound limit at 50' at NCM, and they do enforce this limit with a 2-strikes and you're out policy (you have one chance to fix the problem and if not then you cannot ride for the remainder of the event). 103dB at 50' is actually pretty loud, but if all you have is a pipe with no muffler you might be in trouble. Plan accordingly.

The bathrooms and showers at NCM are now complete!!!

Shogun will be there with the lunch truck for food - they do awesome food. EVERYONE GETS FREE LUNCH ON SATURDAY!!!! WOO!!!!!!

There is fuel available on site - see the track for that.

Please keep your area clean and do not leave any race gas cans or tires when you leave.

We must be out of the paddock by 7:00pm Sunday night.

Any questions, please post up here.

Just so everybody knows what 103db is...I tripped it in July with my 2BB GP Full Exhaust...

I had ridden all weekend, but late Sunday, I got black flagged and went in and talked to them about it. They knew I'd been out all weekend so were as perplexed as I was. At 102.5 they start focusing in on you. I asked if I could go out and make a quick lap with no one else out so that we could see if it was really me - rode it as hard as I could by the tester - and hit a 104. It was the last session of the day, and I made a deal with him that I'd back off if he'd let me finish the day coaching. He said ok - but If I tripped it again I'd have to come off and I agreed.

I have since put back in my reducer cap that I've ridden with before which should be ok as it takes it down about 5db. But late Sunday I may talk to them about trying to intentionally trip it again and see what I can get it to...that would give us something to gauge it with..

Will have a free Knox chest protector in Large for first one interested this weekend. It's probably 7-8 years old and has been worn for maybe 2 hours total. I will be in the garages this weekend, Black/Yellow R6 #26 or send me a PM. First come first served.

About the 3PM session, as the track finally started to clear, I hit the turn after Deception and hammered it to go down the tabletop...about 3 seconds later up above 10K - it went KABOOM, felt like a shovel full of big gravel in the motor...flag people said FLAMES...dense white smoke everywhere....tried to get off track to right (because I was already on right side), but let up on the clutch and the rear started locking up with...pulled clutch back in and got off as quickly as I could, but I left a trail of oil and fluid all the way down the tabletop. The crash truck crew and staff did an excellent job had it cleaned up in about 20 minutes...but I hated it for the customers because they had been waiting all day for the track to dry and then this...

#3 connecting rod sticking out of case see pic below. Think I'll part it out... 6 years and 17,000 track miles on a stock motor not so bad...

Good news, now I have a good excuse to get a new motorcycle :)

I may go to the darkside and Team Beemer if Andrew and Mason will have me (and right now they are still debating).. :)

    Here's the Damage..

Just glad you kept it upright when she blew.....that's a combination of riding skills, a bit of luck, and maybe being on a straightaway and not leaned over in a corner. Good job!

No doubt. I waited a split second too long to grab the clutch when my motor locked up. High side at the end of the front straight at Barber. No fun.
Cool head, and quick thinking saved you.
