Great. More to worry about. Maybe I should take up fishing instead. That would be fuuuun. What happens when you blow a tranny? Rear-end lock like blowing an engine? My guess would be it depends on what actually breaks.
I threw a piston rod through the gearbox locking up the rear wheel at 140 mph at lean. Here is a video what it looked like behind me.
Your bike will start bucking and jumping..... Like crazy.....Clutch it in and move off track ASAP....
Mistake I made was letting clutch out because I was trying to slow down to get off the track too quickly...yep that was almost an epic mistake. Again, sorry to everyone about the line of crap I left on the track that had to get cleaned up...
Good to know you at least may have a chance...and the clutch doesn't somehow also fail to disengage. Thanks for the info. (Yeah, I was ignorant...just watched a youtube to see the inner-workings of clutch and transmission. I knew the basic concept but not the actual linkage.).
