Today I decided I was gonna go for a short ride. Haven't started the bike in about 3 weeks and went for a short ride then, all was well. Tucked it back in the garage and forgot about it. This morning I pull it out, turned the key, all looked well until I hit the start button, the dash and all electronics shut off. So I assume just a dead battery. I jump it off, cranks and runs fine. Pull the cablesame off and instantly goes dead. Crank it again with the cables, runs fine, let it run for a bit, fans come on everything is working minus the rear tail light, half of it is working but was not it's normal bright red, looked more details orange. Hit the brakes and blinkers and nothing happened in the rear, front blinkers worked as they should. Pulled the cables off and goes dead, dash black. If you turn the key on theach dash blinks as if there is a short. It seems there is a ground problem but I can't find anything and battery is charged. I will upload a short video here in a minute. The bike is completely stock minus a healtech quickshifter and I have already pulled it apart and checked those connections and bypassed the unit, still nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yep, classic symptom of a battery with collapsed plates.

Sweet,, don't have to be expensive, One decimal point works, two is better.

These new bikes with their electronics go nuts when a battery is bad. Litterly do the dumbest stuff ever if it's one volt short.
