I'm considering a big move soon and knoxville is on the list of places I could go, and was just wondering what tracks are closest to it?
Many many of us are in knoxville. Born and raised here and I love it. NCM, 3 hours Road Atlanta 3 1/2-4 Tally 4 Barber 4 Cmp 5 Jennings 8 Roebling 8 Nola 10-12 VIR 5-6 I think I consider a track local if I can get there in 4-5 hours. Why the move? And what area of knoxville. Seriously if you need any insite on the community let me know. Been here all my 40 young years. T (O, and deals gap aka the dragon is only 45 min away)

I recently switched to track only, but I had the pleasure of riding the gap several times. Thanks for the input, I didn't realize ncm was so close, it's my favorite. and all those great southern tracks I've heard so much about! Looking at West knoxville, some friends live down there and I can get a job down there relatively easily, and the scenery and weather are nicer than here, I live in the middle of corn in Ohio currently and I'm about done with it, to be honest. I've been down there several times and it was always a pleasure! Figure why not just move already!?
West knoxville. Directly between me and r6 boater. (Watch out for his kid, he won't get off your dam lawn). Im 5 minutes from west knoxville as is r6boater. Altho he is a dam yankee, he and his family are fantastic people.
It's good to know it's a good decision. And that there is a trackday community in the area. I don't know anybody within an hour that does track days here.
Peggy and I live in the Knoxville area also......."Murvil" to be exact. We are both from another state, and moved here in 2006. I can honestly say that I absolutely love it here and cannot imagine living anywhere else. My only regret is not being born here, but then again, I guess I didn't have much say in the matter!
I've been here in Knoxville 3 years now and I LOVE it Good People - Great Culture I'm in West Hills (right across from West Town Mall in West Knoxville) - Great Area Found a great church nearby called Faith Promise as well.
Jon Tyus/CTR Suspensions is right outside Knoxville. Ohlins USA is in Hendersonville, NC. I have used both and highly recommend.
Jon at CTR, is one of my best friends. He just happens to do amazing work. He use to be with Ohlins, for many many years, but in 2009 I think it was he went to ktech. He still services any and everything. 15 minutes outside knoxville, in Seymour. Sweet! sounds good I have 10 year old stock stuff on my 636 and I'd like to have a suspension that does what it's supposed to do. does ctr sell like, shocks and cartridges ? or do I have to buy them and have them put it in?
