Need a bit of help. Hopefully some of you guys have previously owned or currently owned one of these helmets and can push me over the edge to narrow down my decision and pull the trigger today.

All the helmets I have listed I am able to get a KILLER deal on, but really in the market for a sub 300.00 helmet at this time.

Currently wear a HJC that's a couple years old.

[Note: Hyper links are just a google search for the helmet with a copied link. The actual website does not represent where I will be purchasing them from.]

    Scorpion EXO-R2000 Bautista
    https://www.ridersdiscount.com/scorpion-mens-exo-r2000-bautista-full-face-helmet-2014-197014
    (Red/White Model)

    [3.5lbs]

    Pro's
Inflatable cheek pads for a more custom fit.
Comes with clear & dark tinted shield.
Reviews across Youtube say that it has outstanding airflow.
    Emergency breakaway check pads
    Snell & DOT Approved (2010)

    Con's
Not real impressed with the graphics (Seems there are "pink" highlights in it. :/ Not that I couldn't rock pink.....just choose not to. lol
Its Scorpion. Typically you don't see a lot of Scorpion helmets on the track. Mostly on the street being worn by knuckle heads with the suction cup mohawks.

    ION LS2 Arrow (Yonny Hernandez)
    https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle...plica-helmet?gclid=CNS7oJrbqNICFRc9gQodJzkI0g

    [3.75lbs]

    Pro's
Reviews across Youtube say that it is a outright great helmet.
    Emergency breakaway check pads
    ECE & DOT Approved
All information states that it has the tallest visor (5mm taller than any other helmet on the marker - Allegedly) on the market for better tuck viewing and outstanding perif. vision due to a bit wider shield.

    Con's
Not real impressed with the graphics. Reminds me of what Cycle gear would do on their BILT helmets.
Never tried one on before...so fitment could be an issue. (No local dealers stock this brand)

Last option is almost out the window to begin with...but thought I would share for feedback.

    Kabuto FF5V Veint0
    https://www.ridersdiscount.com/kabuto-mens-ff-5v-ff5v-viento-full-face-helmet-2014-196163

    Pro's
Seems this is a typical "race" inspired helmet. Typical pro's
    Love the graphics

    Cons
US distributors have dropped this line. Don't know why...... so parts may become hard to get or over priced.
    Hard to find visors.
    Non-breakaway check pads.
Unsure of fitment (No local dealers stock this brand)

I won't buy a helmet I haven't tried on. It's not just comfort, you have to evaluate how well it fits and make sure it is snug on all contact points, that's why there are different shapes. A poor fitting helmet does not protect as well.

Agreed. But with me purchasing through a reputable vendor, a return/ exchange should be very easy.

Find a shop that has them to test.
Take a printout of the price you have found.
Many will now meet online prices.

I wanted to see if my bike could fly at the dragon. We went off the cliff side together. I was in a scorpion exo-r2000. I walked away. Well I crawled/climbed up the mountain. I am sold with that helmet from that experience. I bought another r2000 while rebuilding that bike. It will probably be a while before I change brands again.

Well, if you are buying them from the same vendor see if you can work a deal to ship at least your 2 top choices to you with the option to return 1, that way you can try them back to back to check the fit.

I agree with everyone else on go with what ever one fits your head the best. They will all work well if they fit right, go through a reputable online retailer and you should be able to return with little hassle.
