Excellent. That'll give her somewhere to work. That's more what I was hoping for the price of electricity. Thank you everyone for your answers!
Got another question about the power poles. I did a little research and it sounds like each power pole in levels 2 and 3 in the paddock has a 50,60, and 2 110 hookups. Are the 110 hookups 2 or 3 prong? I assume they're 3 prong, yes? I want to make sure I have all the correct equipment with me. Thanks again everybody for your help!
Will they allow me to camp in the RV the same place I pit with the bike? Are the pwr outlets all 15/20 amp (same as in your house) or do they have 30/50 amp (RV) hookups also?
depends on your generator, even fuel efficient ones use about 1 gallon an hour at full throttle. Now you may not need full throttle, but with an RV running air, tire warmers, and maybe some inside lights etc., you might be close. So far my best average has been round .65 gallons an hour. At around 2.10 per gallon of gas that is right at 35.00. For the convenience of plugging in, vs. filling the generator three times a day, I just pay the 35.00. Your generator maybe a lot more fuel efficient. I think the lowest I ever spent over 24 hours was around $29.00. For 6.00 savings, I just as soon plug in. Now if you are just coming for the day, arriving in the morning and leaving at 5, then yes probably substantial savings using a good fuel efficient generator. But if coming in on Friday and leaving on Sunday, then I suspect Gas/plug in will be 95% of each other in terms of cost.
