I am selling my 2008 Yamaha R6 track bike. The bike currently has a clean title; however, it has been crashed on the track. I've been rebuilding the bike since 2012, piecing things together as I've gotten the time and money to do so. It's been an interesting journey but, now that I've gotten the bike together, I've decided I want to pursue other hobbies! Below is a list of modifications I've made to the bike Full Akropovic Evolution exhaust System (this includes the Exup valve delete module) Vortex rear sets Driven clip-ons K&N air filter Scotts steering dampner Stomp Grips Power Commander V New Sharkskinz bodywork (Rattle can paint. Aesthetics wasn't my thing!) CRG Supersport clutch lever w/ roll-a-click adjustment and perch CRG folding brake lever w/ roll-a-click adjustment Goodridge steel braided and coated front brake line Motion-Pro throttle w/ grips New Michelin Pilot Power Pure tires I've kept all the wiring intact as well as kept the stock exhaust and turn signals incase I'd want to ride the bike on the street again someday. I have a few other miscellaneous parts that would be included in the sale: Owner's manual Stock tool kits front and rear stands Grunge brush and axle tool etc... (see pictures) I'll allow the purchaser to decide what they want and they don't. The bike has 11,266 miles on it now. I have test-ridden the bike through the neighborhood a few times to make sure it is as safe as possible, but I would recommend having it inspected by a professional prior to it being taken on the track. This is has always been my favorite bike! I'm asking $4000 obo for everything as is. The bike is located on the south side of Indianapolis, IN. Bike is SOLD
Thanks. Got to take it out in novice for a session for a shakedown. After the tires warmed up and I switched my brain from gp shift to standard, she did just fine.
