Come out to Barber on a Budget and enjoy a Potluck Dinner with your STT Family! Barber on a Budget is Saturday-Sunday, August 12-13th, and the Potluck Dinner and Drawings will be Saturday evening. The Drawings will be for FREE track time and an Apex Manufacturing, LLC bike work table! The last Potluck was a great success, enjoying tons of great food and hanging out with the best track folks around! In order for this one to be equally successful, we need each of you to bring SOMETHING--ANYTHING! Let's try to give it some balance by each of us listing what we'll bring here to avoid everyone bringing dessert! I've listed some traditional *suggestions* below, but we don't have to stick to the list. Bring anything you think people will enjoy. STT will provide some burgers, hot dogs and the buns for those, but feel free to bring anything to throw on the grill to share! It's ok for more than one person to bring the same thing, as long as we don't have 500 tubs of potato salad Some Burgers/buns - STT Some Hot Dogs/buns - STT Other meats (sausage, brats?) / rolls/buns for those - rdecae / Libin Dressings for the above: Cheese Lettuce Tomato Onions Ketchup/Mustard - The Bawses Sides Baked Beans (serving spoon) - TimD. The more people we have participating, the more fun it is, and of course, more food for everyone!
Myself, Jacob and a new rider are coming. I am bringing 20 Brats and buns. but on a personal note, everyone bringing desert actually works for me
I'll talk to the boss when she gets home and see what we want to bring for Sat. evening. I can cook and not kill anyone, but let's just say that she's in the "Advanced group" when it comes to cooking........among other things!!
Glad to participate, but it needs to be something I can go to the grocery and pick up and won't go bad...
Peg and I will be bringing a big bowl of Pasta Salad........It will have a mild rotel, black olives, zesty Italian dressing
What time will we start? I'll bring a desert but will need to go buy it at after riding. I don't have a way to keep a lot of food hot or cold.
Not sure, but ridding stops at 5pm. Say 30 minutes to change, maybe a quick shower, and then start the grilling. 30 minutes for the grill stuff to finish. I am thinking 6pm is earliest, 6:30 is more likely. just my guess.
if your doing a run, I will put in my request, Cherry Pie or Cherry cobbler Brownies just in case you need some suggestions
You should bring some! You have a camper!! Don't you have a fridge? LOL. Make something and bring it with ya . Otherwise, they sell cold potato/pasta salad, cole slaw and heatable macaroni & cheese at the store. I'm not the official timekeeper, but 6:30-7pm is more like it. We know people have to squeeze out of their suits and will want to shower before I'm already bringing brownies! Gotta be fastER! See above - I've already claimed brownies. Mmmm can't wait.
