What I thought was going to be just another typical track day turned out to be different. Ive always ridden at the top of the pack in N group and have been fine there. Sunday our lead group instructor was a fella with a nickname of "Bomber" and its on the back of his leathers, rode an R1. I wish I could remember his name. Ive had a lot of coaches, and with a few different orgs but he was BY FAR the best instructor ive ever had. His ability to coach far surpassed any other instructor I have ever been with. He would follow, then lead, then follow, then lead. Each time showing me a correction I needed then watching to see if I done it correctly. And this wasn't just for one session, it was the entire day like this with our group. All the instructors at STT are great. But Bomber is something special. A good guy and truly an amazing coach! Between he and Thermosman, you guys put on an awesome weekend! I shaved 6 seconds off my lap times and turned a 1:49 to end the day and bump to Intermediate.
