I see that STT mentions back protector rentals on the site. I'm doing a Ducati Detroit (run by STT) trackday in May and the dealer said no back protector rentals. Anyone know who to contact to see if STT will have the rentals available for this event? Or if this is even still a thing?
Hi Matt, here's what is noted in the STT website. Shoot an e-mail to Brock as noted below. Mention to him the date and that it is a Ducati Day. He may or may not be at the event since it's not a regular STT day. Worst case, I'm sure we could find someone at the event who might lend you one to use for the day. Q; Are there back protectors for rent or use? A; Yes there is a limited amount of back protectors available to be used for free with leather rental. Just to clarify, the May day is not an STT day, it is a private Ducati Detroit day. But usually STT helps us out with leather rentals, etc., still. Thanks!
Hi all, I just wanted to jump in here to clarify a few things about this particular date. This is a privately run Ducati of Detroit track day, not managed with or by STT at all. As such, we do not have the resources or infrastructure to accommodate equipment rentals. Please direct all inquiries to Ducati of Detroit for anything you may need for their private day.
