    Hi guys -

I'm trying to set up to attend my very first track day maybe May 25, or shortly after. I really want an experienced pro to take a look over my bike and make sure there are no concerns, along with some super minor maintenance. Unfortunately when I reattached the battery this year, I noticed my bike is dripping fuel slowly so I think I need to get the bike towed/trailered somewhere from downtown Chicago (of course I don't have my own trailer).

Can anyone suggest a shop or pro that they have had good experience with? I did try to reach out to Joe at Turn One, but I think he seems maybe too busy to have a chance to pick up my bike from downtown Chicago.

Thanks in advance for any tips.

Joe is my go to guy, he is always busy but thats part of the gig. though being a 1 man shop going to pick up bikes is rare unless he is already at the track... certainly he will go out of his way at times if he can. but even more so with the track / race season really ramping up.. 1-2 hours not wrenching is a lot of lost time. if you can find someone that can help you get it to him.. i'd reach out again!

Totally agree. I really wanted to get out to him but I don't have a trailer myself and don't want to ride the bike with the fuel leak...I looked up renting a trailer (and truck to tow it, since I don't have a hitch either) and seems like it would run me $200 for the day. That's all fine, but the only time I can make that trip is weekends, so I wanted to look into other options too....

I sadly dont know anyone else in that area.. you could always rent a uhaul pick up... and just strap the bike in the bed.. a lot cheaper if you have access to a ramp.. I wouldn't ride with a leak either

What walle said....motoworks will also pickup. If you are in a time crunch they are a good option until you can get to Joe to get fully sorted. They can for sure address a fuel leak and get you ready for the 25th. Joe will be at ACC fyi.
