Here are some helpful facts to help you prepare for your track day at Grattan Raceway. ON TRACK DIRECTION SCHEDULE Friday: Clockwise -> -> Saturday: Clockwise -> -> Sunday: Clockwise -> -> Direction of travel in the upper paddock is one-way with anything that has a motor in it. When traversing the upper paddock, keep right up hill and travel counter clockwise along the garages. Gates open Thursday at 6pm and closes at 11pm (local time). Gates reopen Friday and Satruday at 7am and closes at 11pm each day, then reopen on Sunday from 7am to 6pm. (local time). Unfortunately a $10/day, or $15/weekend, per person gate fee for all riders or spectators is required for this track (please bring cash with you). Camping is available for the weekend event. Showers are available (upper paddock) Race/Pump gas is available over by the concession area, cash only. Concession stand open for lunch (upper paddock) No power available, so you'll want to bring a generator if you require power. Garages (upper paddock) are available with electricity & airline for $40/day, $60 for 2 days, Call Sam @ (616) 691-7221 to reserve. Pets are allowed and MUST be on a leash at all times. Please "clean up" after your pets. TRACK SIDE SERVICES: Sportbike Tire Service (STS) will be available for Saturday and Sunday (upper paddock) **Get your Michelin tire swag on! Apex Manufacturing offers bike services and products on virtually anything you need for your bike or yourselves. Some product may be available track side, visit the Apex truck and see Brock for details. Rental Leathers are reserved through STS and picked up track side at this event. Registration will be held inside the main white tech garage on the upper paddock. Everyone must check-in at trackside registration if you are riding on the track. Everyone riding that has registered will be handed a group sticker that must be placed on the upper nose front fairing of your bike (please do not place it on the tire fender), then proceed over to the tech area for inspection. You must register first, BEFORE heading over to the tech inspection area. If you are riding more than one day, you only need to register and tech once - on Saturday. Please remember to bring your picture ID with you to registration. If you forget, you may be asked to retrieve it. All Gopros or similar cameras that is mounted on a motorcycle must have a tether from the camera case to a point on the motorcycle. It doesn't have to be pretty, it just has to be tethered and secure. NO helmet mounted Gopros or NO similar helmet mounted cameras allowed on track NO Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) or DRONES of any type allowed at this event. They will be shot down by GRASP (Grattan Raceway Automatic Security Protection) Riders Meeting: There is a MANDATORY rider's meeting everyday at 8:20am. Everyone that is riding on track is required to attend. The riders meeting will be held outside the tech and registration area, please be on time. After the riders meeting, Novice group reports to the classroom located in the upper paddock outside picnic area and Intermediate goes on track first at 9am ON TRACK TIME SCHEDULE (all days): TRACK DIRECTION: CLOCK WISE Intermediate Group 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 Advanced Group 9:20, 10:20, 11:20, 2:20, 2:20, 3:20, 4:20 Novice Group 9:40, 10:40, 11:40, 2:40, 2:40, 3:40, 4:40 Lunch is at NOON We ride R*** or shine, please come prepared for Michigan weather!
