I got STT membership for this track season. I had a question regarding the tire benefit.

**Free** mounting and balancing for your Michelin tires.

Planning on buying new tires on my next track day. Was wondering whether its free with wheels off the bike or on the bike.

Good morning and thanks for the question. With your STT membership, you will receive free mounting and balancing of any tires that you purchase from Sportbike Tire Service track-side. You will need to bring us the wheels off of the motorcycle to receive that benefit. We also offer the service of removing your wheels from your motorcycle for an additional charge.

Best thing I ever did was buy a No-Mar tire changer and started doing it myself at home. Can get a solid tire changer set up for less than $500 and have one less thing to worry with while at the track. I have 2 bikes, already half way paid for my No-Mar considering what I would have paid someone to mount, balance, and flip my tires, and I've only had it maybe 6-8 months. And an added bonus is every time I do my own tires, they are balanced perfectly. Had some bad luck with local shops balancing tires prior, especially on my cruiser.

Sounds good! I'll bring the appropriate tools and stands next time.

Don't currently have the physical space for that. Def a good idea to be self reliant to save some $$$.

You can buy them with a hitch mount to mount in a receiver hitch on a truck and set it aside when not using it. This also would allow you to bring it to the track if you needed to flip a tire mid day.

I think the no-mar is a great machine for an alternative, there is something to say about the efficiency and convenience of having your service done by the Sportbike Tire Service professionals---not to mention, we would miss you if you all had your machines! Please let us know if we can help.
