Ok, so worst case, I’ll be notified somehow if I’m causing an issue:) I get what you mean about the rider in front just rides his ride, just don’t wanna be that guy when as noob I need all the goodwill I can get ;). If I had the option I probably would get a 600 as a track bike, but then there’s buying a truck to haul it and all the other necessaries. Since I don’t, it’s ‘run what ya brung

Don’t worry! Slow is totally fine, just focus on being predictable. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

haha causing an issue is quite rare.. its a coaching moment to help you use the track correctly to make you a better rider.. it has little to nothing about being slow. the likelihood of you being the only noob there is quite low, thats the point of novice. to learn in a controlled environment with others around your skill level.

I’ll be plenty fast on the straights, though;). I suppose that’s the other part, though, me not being in a hurry on the straights, follow someone a turn or two, and if I’m not giving up ground in the corners to them, then I can pass them and not have to worry about slowing them down. Plus that will help me focus on ‘my stuff’ as I go through the corners, since I have PLENTY to work on there
