We have a 2008 (new gen) Ninja 250 for sale. It is fully track prepped, was raced in So Fla a bit, and has been used for 3 STT track days at Tally for myself and my 15YO son. I will be running it at Tally this coming weekend to coach Novice, but after that it is available for sale. The only reason for the sale is that I am moving to a bigger bike, and we still have another 2009 Ninja 250 that my older son raced that needs some crash repairs and will be back up and ready to go for my 15YO again. While it won't win any races with the newer Ninja 300 and R3's around, it is a well sorted and perfectly capable machine, and is very affordable both to purchase and run. We are asking $2200 for it, but there is some flexibility in that. It has Pit-eck body work on it in white with a double bubble windscreen. It looks a bit rough, but this bike has not been crashed while we have been using it on the track anyway (since about 2014). The bodywork was take-offs that were repaired after my older son crashed repeatedly The bike has all necessary items safety wired to at a minimum meet FL CCS racing requirements and a few extra items. It has a stainless front brake line, new EBC pads, new sonic springs setup for 160-175 lb rider (0.8kg/mm), new Racetech fork emulators installed. Rear shock is stock but works well. Has an EBC lite brake rotor on it that is near new. Because of its shape it does cause some pulsing through the lever, but stops well and does not disturb the bike under extremely heavy braking. Has woodcraft clip-ons, and (I think Yoshimura) rearset brackets on it for additional ground clearance. Also has a new UNI foam air filter insert, and a Factory Pro jet kit in it. Also has a Leo Vince muffler. It sounds great on the track! Has Dunlop Q3 tires that have some decent life left in them. The ONLY thing it needs right now is the left fork seal is weeping a bit, so could probably use fork seals. I can try to get my son to post up pictures if you are interested, just let me know. Bump. Although I'm changing my target bike I'm looking for. My son has sprouted up and is now 6'0 190lbs. Looking for a 600 now. I'm in the Milwaukee area, I'm willing to check out bikes anywhere in the Chicagoland, WI area.
