2009 GSX-R 1000 Bike has been great since I have had it but I am going a different direction… 11K Miles 5K of those on a HFD1 Rebuild done in 2010 , JRI Shock, Refreshed 30m Stock Big Piston front end, Vortex Rear sets, Vortex Clip ons, Vortex Fairing Stay, Vortex Gas cap, Vortex Case savers, Vortex Frame Sliders, GPR Damper, Yoshimura Carbon TRC, Yoshimura Engine Plugs and Head nut, Bazzaz QS-4, New Sprocket Specialties sprockets and RK Chain, New Renthal Mediums, Azzano Levers with Remote Adjuster, Bike has Full Sharkskinz on it now with Fresh Primer (Black) and new Zero Gravity screen. I also have a Spare set of Hotbodies, Upper, Lower, Tail, Fender and Tank Guard all Painted Gloss white…Bike has 1 extra front rim and has Michelin EVO slicks on it now.. I have a NY certificate of Destruction/Slavaged Title for this. Bike is located in Cumming GA (30041). Well after racing with WERA the last couple years I actually had more fun racing the TL than I did this... So with that said I am doing the full AHRMA round next year since they have a new class for RC-51's, TLR's and Aprilia Mile's.. With WERA in V8 the TL this year was paired up with 05 1000's due to the 12 year cut off ect and I simply had no competition for them...I have more fun on the TLR so I am going to finish the other one I am working on and just keep those 2... I might build something else in the meantime but I need funds to move forward....
Oh and not to mention its the 20th Anniversary of the TLR next year... Someone has to represent them at Vintage Fest at Barber!!!!!
