cullman AL I use to have a customer from there that raced a fast 2 valve ducati but I can't remember his name. I do know that I stopped and bought a set of boat trailer tires there once on the way to pensacola when I was going sailing one winter the old tires got knots the size of goose eggs on them at interstate speeds. yes I think the riders name was st. james ? but I'm not sure it's been a long time. you're 1 day ups ground from here about a 4-5 hour drive. better pack an overnight bag. bill and darethea
Bill has my Held Leathers and informed me that it is good to go and to cost me $..... Not bad consider the damage and missing stitching..... I feel this is about as grassroots as racing gets.... and I love it! Mail System, Phone Calls, Friendships, Word of Mouth Recommendations, Etc....Leather work will be a lost art one day, but not right now!
updates and visitors Dave and Andres visited yesterday picking up and dropping off . sat by the woodstove and played with the dogs and did a little benchtrackin' . a good visit had by all ( especially the dogs) . mr. update It's been awhile and a busy season. the repairs come and go and I just finished a new Bonneville suit for a gentleman in california . It's springtime in KY and I have a couple of my mowers prepped and been mowing several times already. I'm mostly in the shop all the morning but I do step out on pretty afternoons so leave a message and I'll get right back to you ( usually within a few minutes) . all the ebst. bill and darethea

october time well it's getting cooler. I work in the shop in the mornings but try to get out a bit in the afternoons if the weather is nice. if I don't answer the phone on the thrid ring leave a message. I am probably right outside. I've been working on an old sailboat. a victoria 18.
