    Here are some helpful track day facts for Blackhawk Farms Raceway

    LOCATION:
    Blackhawk Farms Raceway (BFR)
    15538 Praire Road
    South Beloit, IL 61080

    ***IMPORTANT GATE INFORMATION***
    * BFR location is in CT (Central Time, one hour behind Grand Rapids and Indianapolis).
    * NO GATE FEE FOR ENTERING

    ***Registration is being done at the front gate BEFORE you enter. BFR has expressed with conviction NO SPECTATORS and required registration to be done at the front gate. ONLY crew members and immediate family are allowed to enter.

    *****Registration will only be open on limited hours and if you are not on time you will not be allowed to enter. -- IT IS IMPERATIVE YOU ARE ON TIME.

    GATE HOURS:

    *Friday 7PM -9PM
    *Saturday 7AM to 8:15AM and 5PM to 6PM
    *Sunday 7AM to 8:15 AM
    You can come and go any time you wish as long as you are checked in at the gate, during gate hours.

    **** Please do not park in front of or set up in the Pavilion****

    Helpful facts for BFR:
    • Camping is available for the weekend
    • Campfires are allowed, (don't forget the bug spray)
    • Showers are available
    • Race/Pump gas is available credit/debit only.
    • Concession stand open for breakfast and lunch
    • Evening track walks allowed (cold track only)
    • Limited electricity available. Bring your generator
    • You can listen to the public address (PA) paddock announcements by tuning a radio to 88.9 FM
    • Pets are allowed and MUST be on a leash at all times. Please "clean up" after your pets
    • Joe from Turn One Racing will be available for suspension service. Call 815-519-6267 to make an appointment early.
    • Joe Hansen for ElectricEyeImages.com will be there to take your photos
    • Michelin tire service available by Sportbike Tire Service (STS), get your tire swag on!

    Registration:
    • Registration opens at 7:00am Saturday & Sunday and closes at 8:15am for the rider's meeting, then will
    • Registration will be held at the gate entrance when you arrive (see map above). After you register, you will be handed a group sticker to place on the front of your bike. Please do not place it on the tire fender, then head over to the tech area for inspection. Tech Inspection will be held at the Tech shed.

    Tech Inspection:

    • Tech inspection will be held over at the tech shed. Please be sure to register first before heading over to the tech inspection area.
    • All Gopros (or similar cameras) that is mounted on a motorcycle must have a tether from the camera case to a point on the motorcycle. It doesn't have to be pretty, it just has to be tethered and secure.
    • NO helmet mounted Gopros (or similar helmet mounted cameras) Unfortunately, they are NOT ALLOWED at all on track
    • NO Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) or DRONES of any type allowed at this event.

    Riders Meeting:
    • There is a MANDATORY rider's meeting everyday at 8:15am.
    • Everyone is required to attend, including spectators if they are in the paddock.
    • The riders meeting will be held in front of the Tech Shed. Please be on time.

    Hot Track Schedule:
    • At 9am the Novice group reports to the classroom (immediately following the riders meeting) and Intermediate group goes on track first following the below schedule:
    **Intermediate Group 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00
    **Advanced Group 9:20, 10:20, 11:20, 12:20, 2:20, 3:20, 4:20, 5:20
    **Novice Group 9:40, 10:40, 11:40, 12:40, 2:40, 3:40, 4:40, 5:40
    Please note that Lunch will be held at 1:00PM (Four sessions before lunch). The track will go hot at 1:50 after lunch.

    We ride R*** or shine, please come prepared for the weather.:eek:

    ***Please keep your area clean do not leave any race gas cans, tires, plastic water bottles or any other garbage when you leave.***

    Hello, I made the boneheaded mistake of not finishing my purchase somehow, when spots were still available. Sold out now. Anyway to get put on a standby status other than driving the 2.5 hrs the day of the event?
