Gates will open approx 5:00pm CST time Friday evening. Gates close at 10:00pm Saturday night and re-open at 7:00am. You must be in the track by 10:00pm or you don't get in til the morning. Tally is in the CENTRAL time zone. There is a $5.00 gate fee for all persons 16 or older at this track. BRING SOME CASH WITH YOU. Sportbike Tire Service will be there with their usual great prices on tires! Marietta Motorsports will be there for suspension and parts needs. Sign-up opens 7am, closes for the day at 10:30am Tech 7:00am-5pm Please note some NEW tech rules regarding GoPro (or similar) cameras: - all Gopros mounted on a motorcycle must have a tether from the camera case to a point on the motorcycle. - helmet mounted Gopros are not allowed at all on track - in our novice group, Gopros are not allowed on track in the morning sessions - in the afternoon sessions they are fine as long as the above rules are followed. Mandatory rider's meeting at 8:20am both days - you must be there or you will not ride. Tech and registration are closed during the rider's meeting. Lunch concession will be open both days! Camping is free, some electric is available, you pay the track for that. Pets are allowed, must be on a leash at ALL times. Please "clean up" after your pets. Showers are in the silo. No fuel is available at the track. Small Jiffy Mart right by the track, many motels in Oxford/Anniston, about 15 minutes away. As always we ride "rain or shine" - come prepared. No... We do sessions down Hwy 21 all the way to Anniston and back Isle Mann style on Fridays!! Yes 5 CST Friday... I think that was a typo from the last Barber Talladega Event...
oh, I just remembered....... NASCAR IS AT THE BIG TRACK THIS WEEKEND!!!! So, plan accordingly....... t
That means there won't be any hotel rooms under $250 - $300 a night within 40 miles or so of the track. I hate NASCAR!
