Hi there, JakRap from Chicagoland says Hi. Moved to Chicago in December and glad to know that there are tracks nearby and such a forum of like-minded people exist. Intermediate rider with around 12 track days under the belt. Hoping to get a bike this month/next and planning to hit Autobahn in May.

Welcome! Autobahn is a lot of fun. I'm always there. I'd recommend doing either the North or the South by itself before doing the full course. The full course is challenging, to say the least, to pick up all the turns in one day.
Hi and welcome, Autobahn North is a blast for sure. Make sure to get up to Blackhawk farms as well, short drive and one of my favorite tracks. Gingerman also pretty close and a blast.
Thanks for your warm welcome @indy , @NeedSpeed and @bigshow . Yeah intend to go to Black Hawk Farms and may be even Gingerman as well. Any idea where to buy a good 600/1000 in Chicago? Found imotorsportsinc online. They seem to have good bikes albeit a lil pricier. Looking for use on both track as well as road. Cheers
I would say buy from STT forum, some killer deals out there for sure right now. Plus you will get a good honest story on the bike if its an STT seller, we all keep bumping into each other

I bought my bike from a STT member. VERY GLAD I did. The prices have been sane, most with the mod's you want for the track already.
