Snail here, new intermediate rider. Yamaha R6 at a 1:32-1:35 Grattan pace.

Just tried out the new Michelin Power Cup Evos this weekend at Grattan and I gotta say I was really impressed!! I started doing track days on Dunlup Q3s like many of you and always loved the tire it felt great and not much movement once warmed up.

Bought tire warmers for this season and was deciding on which tire to move on to next. After some research on the interwebs I decided to give the Michelins a try.

If you're on the fence like me do it!! The power cup Evos felt really good and I jived with them right away. The softer carcass makes the whole track seem smoother. The bumps, the seams all of it and it gave me a smoother more comfortable feel of the track. Everything I asked the tires to do they didn't complain at all. I went a little wide in the S's tightened my line and they gripped like glue! Always could trust them.

Way better tire with better grip everywhere, hard braking and downshifting now has almost no movement in the rear where the Q3 would move around on me.

Just wanted to let anyone know that's at my pace and wanted to move up to tire warmers and a higher temp tire to just do it!! You won't regret anything and with the buy two rears get the front for free the Michelin guys are doing track side it's totally worth it.

Started back to track on Q2s then moved to takeoff Evos. Love 'em. Ran them again this last weekend and will be getting a fresh set next time out!
