Going over the bike today, getting ready for a track day next weekend found a gift from Last years STT Grattan run. Fist bit, pulled out no problem, it was short. The second one, wasn't short and left the same size hole the first bit did. Except this one included sound effects. Have a day or two maybe more left in the rear. Patch it? for a spare. Already have a set ordered ships Monday. Thanks STT Tire store.
Ya,, I thought so.. dam wtf was that doing at the track.. On the street I could see it. Guess it could have been worse, found at tech, or it let loose on the track..
internal patches for a street tire doesn't bother me as long as its a good shop doing it and your just commuting.. but a track day/ race tire where you are subjecting the tire to forces and speeds that really strain or work the tire. why would ya ever take a chance on the SINGLE most important thing on your bike
OK,, so the tire being a spare is out.. Dam.. At least with STT's tire store help I won't miss this coming Saturday..
