I tried a 1 pc suit on for the first time. When I went to get it off I realized it was going to be an issue. The suit was an Alpine Star that zipped up the center. I wee they off a suit the zips from the shoulder. Does it make it easier to get this suit off with the zipper off to the side?

there's very few suites with the bib double zipper.
it's very normal at trackdays to be like hey pull my sleeve no joke... if your wide shouldered or long torso it is practically impossible to get you arm out by yourself

everyone in the paddock is familiar with the funky chicken dance to get ur suit off and having someone grab ur sleeve to roll a shoulder out .. that means it fits right

    Agreed with above..
If you can walk around normally most likely it's to tall for you.
Mine's a tad snug while standing and fit's fine while riding.
I'm in the long torso bunch and gave up trying to get mine off by myself. Have pulled some muscles trying it.
Have never seen a off center zippered suit.

The double zipper has its own unique protocol, good luck getting them zipped while standing straight.

Dianese makes a double-side zipper suit...some hate it, some love it. Everybody in the pits does the "get my dang suit on and off dance" :) Many of us wear something under it (i.e., UnderArmor) to make it easier to slip on and off...

Lastly, make sure you fit your suit WITH BACK PROTECTOR OR BODY ARMOR you intend to wear ON...I didn't think about that when I bought my first suit, and had to buy a second one when I moved up to Intermediate and it was required....

    I think he meant:
If that's the case, he's referring to the Alpinestars Orbiter. I haven't seen any others with he same zipper, but I imagine it's more of a styling choice since it's unique among the many suits available.

Also remember the suit will break in a little bit and won't be as tight as it is initially. And an undersuit helps tremendously in getting it on and off.
