Couldn't find any current "glove" posts and since they are always evolving and new players are getting in the market....

What current track specific gloves does everyone recommend and what features too look for?

Current gloves are Alpinestars GPS Tech that are at least 2 generations old and have grown very stiff from rain. Just bought new boots this summer so not really wanting to throw down $400 for another pair of GP Techs/SuperTech. Looking for bang 4 buck!

    Any feedback on these:

    >Alpinestars super tech

    Thank you!

I have heard nothing but good things about the Knox Handroids. I just can't get over the robocop look of them. Does it grow on a guy?

I do like how the whole chassis is made out of kangaroo leather and not just the palm side. How do these feel, how do they crash without any tpu?

Most comfortable gloves I've tried on..they feel broken in out of the package. I do not own a pair but my boy does and he loves them. I was going through a warranty claim with Astars for my GP Techs that came apart after 2 months, and I went to Heroics shop to try on these gloves but they wound up replacing my pair instead of refunding my $ so I unfortunately left empty handed....my boy did not. He has the Dainese Full Metals and GP Pros and he prefers the heroics.

I'll pile on another vote for Handroids. They feel like second skin once you break them in. I crash tested mine once and they held up just fine.

I've worn a couple of different sets of the Held Phantom for the last 7 1/2 years and honestly, they are comfortable, very protective (I've unfortunately crash tested the same pair twice) and finally put them in the trailer for spares, although they are fully functional. My vote goes to the Helds

I tried the Handroids and they just wouldn't work for me. I've always been a Large in gloves but on recommendation got XL in the Handroid. They still hurt my knuckles and I don't have big hands. Got Alpinestars GP Tech in Large and they fit great. I'm a little worried about Alpinestars' recent quality issues but will likely keep these for a bit. I think my next gloves will probably be Heroic.

The Handroids also just got updated late last year, for what it's worth.

Really an idea what they have done?
I haven't herd or seen any info on this.
I like my handroids other than the blisters I get from them.

Here's an article on it, it was a pretty low key update: http://www.morebikes.co.uk/27906/knox-releases-handroid-3-0-even-glove-going/

I believe the main differences are some seams were changed and they added little accordian panels to the fingertips. I actually snagged a pair of these late last year and enjoy them but I know Handroids just don't quite fit on some people.

I have both the Handroid and Cortech Adrenaline 2. Cortech is just as nice at a better price but both are excellent.

U been doing this awhile and have had AGV, Alpinestars SP-1s, Cortech, Joe Rocket. By far the best gloves I ever had and even more by far customer support better than anyone is SafRace. Yes they look big and bulky but disappear when on your hands. Feel is spectacular you don't even know u have them on. They were developed by a racer in Miami who couldn't find gloves that he was comfy and felt safe in. So, a lot of presumably frustrating and painful testing resulted in these. I have no connection to the guy just experience. Been wearing them for 3 yrs. Crashed 2x and they sustained more or less superficial damage that he insisted I just send to him for free repair/replacement. Within 10 days I had new gloves. When a finger just came unstitched? Boom! Free new gloves. Superb in every way.

The bad news is that his site appears to have been taken down, SafRace.com. They were originally I think $189.99. I got them originally for $179.99 then he told me he was on eBay for $99.99. I bought 2 more. Now I see he is still on eBay for $79.95(!) Which is SICK value. You cannot be disappointed in these gloves ESPECIALLY at that price. But I am not sure he's still doing the second-to-none customer service. Still...Do it. Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/263108344748
