Stu....I can't either. I actually had it sold on eBay, but the buyer turned out to be a deadbeat that decided not to pay after he won the bid.
I have a question about your bike. I have no track experience and was looking for a good beginner bike, how much would it cost to change the suspension on this bike. I am 6'3" and weight in @ 235lbs, so I would defiantly need to change the set up to fit my fat butt. My friend told me to look here for a bike and gear and that yall were a great group of people to get started out on the track with.
Well, I'm not a suspension guy in the least, but it wouldn't be necessary to change the rear shock, it's a good one....just the spring that is on it. I'm guessing the spring is around a $100 plus labor, and the front forks would need heavier springs too....probably another $100 or so, plus labor. Where are you located? There are motorcycle suspension guys all over, so it shouldn't be too difficult to find someone fairly close. Just so you know, I just listed it on ebay about two hours ago.....starting bid is $2499
I am in the Biloxi, MS area. I have a guy here that did the suspension on my FZ1, I will give him a call tomorrow and ask him about the cost of new springs. I am interested but I will need to figure out how much everything will be, and I have to convince the wife lol. I am planning on trying to make a track day with STT, maybe sometime in Aug, but I still need some gear. If the bike sells before I can get my crap together I understand how things go. Thanks for the info
I understand. There is a very good chance I will be at the Aug. Barber trackday weekend...the 12/13 th, so if it doesn't sell on eBay and you want it, you could do a deposit and I could bring it with me then. Lots of "ifs", so we just wait and see what happens.
