Did the shakedown test around the block and pissed off the whole neighborhood... Just waiting on some number plates and it will be ready.... Putting the second one up on the lift tonight.... Here is a before and after......
Bike looks great. What primer and paint did you use for the frame and swing arm? Have you had good luck with painting aluminum with it before?
No Primer.... Just cleaned, Degreased, and etched the Aluminum then used Eastwoods Chassis Black..... Do a search they have their own site... It comes in Gloss, Satin or Flat.... I always use Satin.... 2 Cans will cover the Frame and Swing arm with about 3 Thick full coats...

It used the suspension (Put stock stuff on this one), Calipers, Lines, Front Master and Clutch Master on the one I finished.. It had some old Bodywork on it which I gave away on the TL Boards.... My plan is to make this a Rain Bike....
Well after blowing a Transmission at CMP awhile back Juan helped me swap engines in the TL's... I only rode it around the Block but still registered for the V-8 Class at the WERA Barber event last weekend... Considering I didn't get to ride it at Barber in April due to a Bad clutch and then 1 Clunking Lap around CMP before detonation a few weeks back the bike felt good and I was able to scrap a third out of 3 people in V8...LOL... This bike is no completion for the 04 R-1's or Mile's in that class...Mike Burns and Bill Shackleton just whooped my Ass..Not to mention Geoff May in F-1 Lapped me on the last lap at Mach 2 on his ZX-10... I think HWT is the place if any for this or AHRMA......But hey Wood is Wood... Also got a second in Senior Superbike Nov. Big Thanks to Dave Brooks for letting us Pit next to him and sharing his Wisdom... Really enjoyed the weekend Dave!
