Damn this is going to take awhile.... Several bolts stripped from the previous owners and stuck.. ... The two I am mainly concerned with are on the front head for the exhaust... I have dealt with those in the past and they are no fun... Also 3 out of 4 fender bolts and 2 caliper bolts stripped...I am scared to check the motor mounts,.

I have a pulled muscle in my back.... I plan on getting the motor out tonight with a neighbors help lifting the frame off.... Then its time to clean some serious nasty parts....

Nope just Duplicolor wheel paint with a few coats of clear.... I considered powder coating the wheels and frame but I need $$$$ for go fast parts... It is a TL after all...

Are you doing a penske rear shock or the F3 conversion? I went the F3 route (have to hack the frame a little) but need to get a heaver spring.

Marc, I'm loving this... I did my first track day on my TLR (01) back in 2010. I crashed it later on the street and sold it... Fast forward to 2014 and found a clean example (02) at a dealer 10 minutes down the road. Went and snagged it up because I regretted selling my first one. While it sounded incredible and had gobs of grunt, it just wasn't the same bike I remember. I truly believe it was that bike only and the TL's are just so fun...

Can't wait to see this one at our events.. Maybe I can go for a spin?????????? ;)

Just pick out a couple cans of Duplicolor... 1 can of Duplicolor Clear and bring them over.... Having the Tire Machine in the garage makes it very easy... Also unlike Powder coating you don't have to pull the bearings out as well...
