if had to guess vern is that the slidout when in the closed (in) position blocks the door to the garage, as well when out.. it looks to limit the main doors access.. could be way off base... I still think its sick and I wouldn't even think about it.

The slide out that is on the same side as the entry doors, will block access to the kitchen/living room, but not the bedroom or the bathroom. The back entry door goes directly into the garage area. Bottom line is that when the slide is in (retracted) you cannot access the living room/kitchen area. And if you did need access to the living room/kitchen, the slide would have to come out about 1/2 way in order to get by and into the living/kitchen.

We'll be joining the Toy Hauler crew next season. Found a very nice Work & Play for reasonable money, the new Super Duty to pull it was a little bit expensive. Regardless AC, shower, fridge, comfort and shade. Jonesin' already for 2017. Should make it easier to invade the south region in early and late season when we are not operating up here in the great white north.

Congrats Clayton....looks like you opted for the 6.7 Diesel. You will absolutely Love the power/torque that truck has. I would go on and on about how much you are going to love having a Toy Hauler at the track, but I haven't been to a track day with my new one yet.. :D We just got it at the end of October and I'm busy working on it to make it ready for next year. As nice as it is, it's a bit of a challenge fitting everything that we had in our 7' x 16' V-nose trailer into a smaller garage space in the new one. Lot's of planning and making use of all the available space.

how the slide out comes into you space below the awning, limits the space you can sit under the awning on, but as Jason said, the thing is beautiful :) you'll enjoy it for sure

Nice truck Marc! I looked at Dodge, GMC and Ford. I like the look of the newer Dodge pickups, but ended up with a great deal on a not a sharp looking left over 2016 Super Duty. The used market was good for Dodge with the Cumin's 6.6. Drove a couple of them. Nice power. Drove one with the Hemi, looked like the mileage was going to be terrible for longer trips with the toy hauler but the power was really good. Very strong for a gas engine.

Been thinking about upgrading the tow capacity for myself, i've got a supercharged tundra at the moment, but i'm not a jackass that overloads the things. Only been thinking about it because of the possibility of a new camper for a bed for my daughter. Looking pretty hard at the 12-15 duramax's and the f250's but its hard to give up that toyota reliability.. really hard

Well, The Toy Hauler has found a new home................Yep!

I had to expand my gravel landing pad from when I had the 7' x 16' Vnose and I decided to get a carport to keep the new one under when it's not being used. Hopefully, this will payoff in the long run by keeping it out of the rain/snow/ice and probably most importantly, the sun.

I agree Marc. This spring I'm going to go ahead and get two more panels for the side that you see pictured. They're 3' wide, so that will bring the side down to about the top of the tires/wheels area. The side that is pictured is the side that gets all the afternoon sun.
