Up for sale is a 05 ninja 636. Located in Paducah KY I bought this bike last year. It was in rough cosmetic condition and 2nd gear was gone. I since have had the transmission replaced with a complete new one, not just 2nd gear. The process which most people take is to remove the gears by pressing them apart and repressing the replacement gears back in. I took the option of buying a complete factory transmission. new, in the box, as a complete replacement. All work was done by a uti technician. while apart, everything else was given a good go over. 15k miles on bike, 100 on new trans. Reassembled and put back in and runs flawless. No leaks, no smoke, just side by side action with any other 600 out there. I have only had the chance to ride this bike one weekend at the track. Loved it. had the suspension tuned, new tires and breaks of course, power commander, muzzy exhuaust, and K&N filter. Handles great and runs awesome. Side by side down every straight with NEW gsxr's. Bad part, cosmetic is pretty beat up, and title is salvage. I can have it inspected and get a rebuilt title so that it can be licensed, but i was using it as a track bike, so i didn't want to pay taxes. But if you are interested in making it street legal, i can do that for you.
