Price Drop! April 2 2015 $5000 USD If it doesn't sell I'll part out all the race goodies and put it back to street trim. This bike is located in Canada. The 2005-06 and 2007-08 gsxr 1000's are considered to be some of the best 1000cc race bikes ever made. Don't take my word for it, read what the WERA races say about 1000cc race bikes "ranking pre 2011 1000 track bikes" http://forums.13x.com/showthread.php?t=314694 Selling my 2006 GSXR 1000. Bought this last 2013. Originally an American bike. Bike handles great, I barely noticed the difference in handling between it and my previous gsxr 600 and 750 race bikes. To be perfectly honest I love this bike and would keep it if I were only doing trackdays. $7000 obo Details -2006 GSXR 1000 -Clean title registered in my name -aprox 9000 miles -stock motor (I didn't think it needed more power) -akrapovic slip-on -NRC side covers -sato rearsets -clip ons -both street and race bodywork -spare rear rim -520 chain kit Suspension -Ohlins rear shock (pre-TTX) and Ohlins 20mm values in front forks -could possible get it resprung for lighter riders. My suspension guy is close -professionally cleaned and set up for my weight (230lbs) last spring -should still be pretty fresh -only did 2 Barber days, 1 Gingerman and 2 WERA sprint races at Grattan on this bike Bike has never crashed as a race bike. Stock bodywork is in good shape but would appear to have had a driveway tip over. A few very light scratches and nothing broken as it had frame sliders. Funny enough the only pics I have are track pics. Will try to roll it outside for a few better pics, the 8" of snow we just got doesn't help. Street bodywork is blue and white like this
How much would you take for the SATO rearsets? What kind of brake/clutch levers are they? Would you be interested in selling the windscreen and/or the race bodywork?
