For sale is my 2009 7x16 Homesteader Challenger series enclosed trailer. I ordered this trailer in January of 2009. Since then it has been used strictly to carry my track bikes to the track. It has been kept in my conditioned garage anytime that it’s not at the track. Every time it was out for the weekend, it was hand washed and it has been waxed twice a year since new. It is a very easy and stable trailer to pull down the interstate. It has duel 3,500lb axles, chrome wheels with matching spare. I also ordered it with the chrome surround on the back door. Electric brakes are in great shape. Installed a brand new set of Carlisie commercial tires on it meaning that they are arguably the best tires you can buy, Installed last fall. LED tail Lights, and much more. It has done me a great service for several years. Pull up to the track, roll out the bikes, blow up the air bed, and it camps great! I purchased it as a simple box trailer and have added all the best goodies you could have. Some of which include: • Aluminum Diamond Plate on floor and ramp (not the cheap stuff, this is 1/8” thick!) • Removed all the paneling and installed 1” DOW foam board in walls as well as installing 2 layers of the bubble wrap insulation on ceiling with a combined rating of R26. • Installed commercial FRP ceiling. • Installed 15,000btu LOW PROFILE Carrier A/C unit. Also has additional start capacitor to make starting easier on the generators when you need them. • Installed 4 2-bulb T8 florescent fixtures on two switches. • Installed Electrical system with 10circuit breaker box, 30amp inlet and 50amp inlet on front tong, and has 6 dedicated circuits with a total of 4 receptacles inside and two outside. All wiring inside is run within EMT conduit which also is a great place to hang small stuff! • Two Pitbull trailer restraint floor mounts included, • 4 Pitbull/niceraxx stand mounts on walls • 1 Pingle wheel clamp stand and 4 d-rings mounted front center for larger bikes, or another track bike. • Lockable side door from inside • Shelve in front right corner for microwave/coffee maker. • Graphics on outside(which are all vinyl and easily removed since it hasn’t been sitting outside like most) I’m selling this trailer because I am upgrading to a toy hauler. There is not anything as clean and well maintained as this one out there. Many references as to condition and service. Asking $6,000 with everything above included. Title in hand. i opened the door to this trailer in the middle of summer last year at barber and it was like 30 degrees in there....wish i had the cash for this one its def a nice setup!
