2009 torque settings

    Same here, I was just thinking about all the fun I had coming up with torque specs for new machinery...:blah::blah::blah::blah::blah::blah: Boring!

    For wheels, brakes, bars, engine covers, triple clamps, fork pinch bolts, engine mounts, stuff like that I dont bother with torque settings but thats just me.

    this. I do however torque chassis bolts, suspension linkage bolts, etc

    a crossed thread is a tight thread.

    i picked up a few digi tq wrenches from craigslist, sent out for cert through work and never looked back. i make sure to tq things like tapered anything, any pinch bolts, anything motor related...

    The only bolts I would worry about torquing properly are internal engine bolts.
