I raced against this bike/rider quite a few times this year. Suuuper fast bike. Extremely nice bike and not such a bad rider either.:thumb: GLWS
This bike is super fast, I've got video to prove it. I raced against him at Grattan this year. Great guy and great bike. I also know the owner of his previous race bike and he's been very happy with that as well.
I agree with Brian. I bought my BMW for $14K. By the time I had it race preped, it was as expensive as the Panigale R. I just finishing building a Panigale S, and I'm just sick that I didn't know about this bike before I built mine. This bike is a steal at the asking price. Joel has done all of the right things to the bike. Good luck with the sale......someone will get a really nice bike!!!
Thanks guys. I am retiring from racing. I would have loved to race it a couple more years. Joel Spalding
Who ever gets this bike will get a steal. Joel is a great guy and his bikes are done to the 9's It would be nice to put this one in my garage next to your old evo! Good luck with the sale, Dan
I think everybody wants this bike, but I think everyone wants this one too: http://www.cyclenews.com/396/22518/Racing-Article/First-Look--2014-Ducati-1199-Superleggera.aspx
Guess the thread got condensed. I will add that I know Joel and know he does things top notch. The items on the bike are exactly what should be added. The bike has been well maintained and not abused. I know the shop that maintained it and They are one of the best shops in the region/country. The bike retails for $30k without a single bit of performance stuff and labor added. $26k is honestly a steal. We tore mine down with not much more time on it than Joel's to simple evaluate as this is a newer platform and it was awesome inside. The reason I state this is that the bikes are well designed and hold up extremely well. Confidence should be in the mind of whomever buys this and they will be well rewarded. Great bike, great seller, great deal.
