I hate to do it but my bikes are up for sale, we're getting ready to build a house and all the upgrades are adding up. I purchased this bike as a second owner it was originally lowsided on the street the rider got the worse of it. It has 1221 original miles on it. This bike was totaled since the VIN plate had a scrape on it. I went over the bike, took the plastics off and did the following mods prior to the Barber trackday in Sep. Armour Bodies bodywork with Supersport tail Cat Delete, with stock exhaust can Q3 tires front and rear have about 8 sessions on them Woodcraft Rearsets Woodcraft Clipons Woodcraft Frame sliders Motul 3000 Brake fluid Waterwetter with drain, flush and fill I have a Virginia Salvage title in hand. When I bought this bike, I was only planning on doing trackdays on it. I have spoken to the TN DMV and it is possible to get a rebuilt title on this bike to make it street legal. The bike is straight and true, motor and suspension are all stock. I did a total of 8 sessions on this bike and it ran and rode perfect. Included with the sale is a bill of sale, salvage title in hand, all old bodywork that was still in acceptable condition. It is located in middle TN area and I am willing to drive 100-150 miles to meet if necessary. Please txt me for any additional questions, or picture requests. (Six one Five) 812-7959.
Deal fell throught...Fred couldn't get permission from his wife! Everybody feel free to bust his balls at the track. Just playing. Lesson #1 It's always easier to get forgiveness then it is permission. Lesson #2 Always ask for a new Ducati then "settle" for the GSXR Lesson @3 Honey we will be saving so much money on the annual maintenance from not buying the Ducati we will be able to buy the GSXR and go on that cruise you wanted to take. $5250 takes it.
Take her to her favorite restaurant tomorrow night...you know the deal wine and dine her then seal the deal! My wife has put up with my crap for the last 13 years buying multiple bikes without permission. The new mustang GT a few years ago was a more difficult conversation.
The current street/track bike and 4 dirt bikes (3 kid size) in the garage probably don't help my cause any...
I am looking for a "Gently used" CRF150RB that I can convert into a supermoto for the mini class. If anyone has one of these I am willing to do a trade with cash deal.
I have the headlight assembly, and 75% of the bodywork. Anything that looked decent I kept, all the other pieces with road rash or cracks I threw away. Everything goes!!!
and you are in Nashville area? .......Wish I had the money now ....but....must....wait till summer. Got to keep telling myself before I end up buying one. And this looks like a very nice one.
Yep. 20 min NW of Nashville right off of exit 24 on I-24. Just think a clean slate ready to paint, all the goodies are already on it. You're "saving money" as I tell my wife. Steve's planning on coming to look at it Sunday....with cash I hear
